Actor Shahid Kapoor is awaiting the release of his highly anticipated sports drama 'Jersey' and these days he's busy with promotions of the same. For those who don't know, 'Jersey' is an adaptation of a Telugu film of the same name.
In a recent promotional interview with India Today, Shahid was asked how would he feel if someone were to remake one of his films. To this, the actor replied, "I would first of all be very curious because I gave a certain interpretation to that character and to that performance. It would be very insightful if a good actor was doing it, somebody whose work I admire or enjoy, what their point of view on it would be."
He further added, "I think it would give me another perspective, which is always good, because as an actor, you can run out of perspective and repeat yourself. So, it is great to absorb different perspectives."
Also starring Mrunal Thakur, Pankaj Kapur, Rudrashish Majumder among others, 'Jersey' will follow the story of a washed up cricketer, who makes a comeback in the game in his mid thirties.
