Shahid Kapoor bought in the New Year in L.A with a couple of close friends. We heard that Shahid was in celebratory mood since his last film ‘R.. Rajkumar’ soared at the box office.

The young actor was spotted at various parties before he took a well-deserved break to L.A. However before leaving, he was closely in touch with the team of ‘Haider’ who informed him that the climate is Kashmir is extremely cold. Our sources revealed that Shahid finished his first shooting schedule of ‘Haider’ in Kashmir, while it was autumn in end of October. However, this next schedule is right in the midst of extreme winter.

As a matter of fact, the winters this year are severe especially in the north belt. Hence while Shahid was in L.A, he took time off to shop for winter clothes. He picked up warm sweaters, jackets, gloves etc. The young actor not only shopped for himself but also picked up a few woollens for his team members who will be travelling with him. Oh so sweet of him, na!!!

We were told that Shahid's team is almost like family for him - especially his valet and driver who have been with him over years.

Meanwhile Shahid will be starting his second schedule of ‘Haider’ end of January onward. It will be a 40 day long shooting schedule in Kashmir. Incidentally, this is the second time Shahid is shooting with Vishal Bharadwaj, after ‘Kaminey’.
