Shahid Kapoor owns eight million followers on Twitter

The 'Shaandaar' actor Shahid Kapoor is a proud owner of over eight million followers on Twitter. He expressed his gratitude and thanked all his fans for their constant love and support.

Shahid tweeted saying, "Wow 8 mil. Gratitude to all. In the jungles of Arunachal with barely any network. Big shoutout. Thank you thank you."

Shahid is currently shooting in Arunachal Pradesh for Vishal Bhardwaj's upcoming period romance drama 'Rangoon'. It also stars Saif Ali Khan and Kangana Ranaut in the lead. Shahid will be essaying the role of a soldier in the 1940's-set film and it hopes to release on September 30.

This is the third time Shahid has collaborated with Vishal after award winning movies like 'Kaminey' and 'Haider'.
