Shahid Kapoor is on a roll these days. He is getting offered quite a number of interesting projects. According to reports, filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra is eyeing Shahid Kapoor for the lead role in his upcoming film about the Mahabharat character Karna, who was the son of Surya. Karna had an intriguing arc in the Mahabharat saga and it'd be interesting to see his story on big screen.
Although there haven't been much details out in the public about the project but it is said to be a big budget production. It isn't known yet whether the film will be set in the contemporary period or the original mythological period.
Shahid finished the shoot of his much awaited sports drama 'Jersey' which is set to hit screens on Diwali 2021.
