Shahid Kapoor might pair up with this young actress

Shahid Kapoor's star power has increased exponentially after the release of 'Kabir Singh'. Since then, he's been offered several amazing projects. Reports suggest that Shahid has been roped in to play the lead in Sujoy Ghosh's upcoming film. There has been no confirmation about this from either side but it's being rumored that the film will go on floors within 2021.
The latest buzz about the project suggests that makers have even settled on the female lead. Actress Tripti Dimri has been roped in to star alongside Shahid. This will mark her first collaboration with Shahid or Sujoy. There have been no revelations about the plot or the title of the film but it might go on floors by September of situation allows it.
Tripti has a few interesting projects under production. She's set to appear in Ranbir Kapoor's 'Animal' and in Babil Khan's debut film 'Qala'. On the other hand, Shahid is awaiting the release of his sports drama 'Jersey' and he's also working on his debut web show with Raj and DK.
