After treating us with the trailer and the peppy track, “Gold Tamba” from ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ whose hook steps went viral, Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor have unveiled the second song from the film. Titled as “Dekhte Dekhte”, the song is a heartbreak track which pulls at the heartstrings.

Crooned by Atif Aslam and lyrics re-written by Manoj Muntashir, the music is re-composed by Rochak Kohli. “Dekhte Dekhte” is originally a rendition from a popular song crooned by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. In the video, it looks like the song is shot after the tragic loss of Divyendu Sharma. Shahid tries to win back Shraddha but looks like she can’t really cope up with the sadness. While the lyrics are catchy, the visuals are too equally appealing. Watch the song here!

Helmed by Shree Narayan Singh and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Shree Narayan Singh, Nitin Chandrachud, Kusum Arora and Nishant Pitti, the film also stars Yami Gautam in the lead role. ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ is slated to hit the screens on September 21, 2018.
