With the Academy Awards just days away, Oscar-fever seems to have hit everyone. And the latest victim is none other than Shahid Kapoor. To make sure he’s up to date with the contending entries, the actor is watching all the film that has been nominated for the Oscars this year at home with his friends.

A source says, "Shahid has been hosting Oscar evenings for a few days now. All his friends - who love watching and discussing the films and the acting - gather at his place after he finishes shooting for the day and then watch the movies."

Ask Shahid who he is personally rooting for and he says, "I think Argo is an extremely promising film. As of now, I am looking forward to watching Life Of Pi and Lincoln. I haven’t seen them yet, but I will watch them soon."

The actor, meanwhile, has been staying busy shooting for Rajkumar Santoshi’s ‘Phata Poster Nikla Hero’ opposite Ileana D’Cruz. He will soon also start shooting for Prabhudheva’s ‘Rambo Rajkumar’ along with Sonakshi Sinha
