Bollywood celebrities have garnered a lot of attention and hearts all over the world which have led them to have their own wax statues erected at the famous Madame Tussauds. It wasn’t long that Kajol, Karan Johar and Diljit Dosanjh were in line for their wax statues and until yesterday that the ‘Padmaavat’ actress Deepika Padukone as well. And now her ‘Padmaavat’ co-star Shahid Kapoor is the new entry who has joined the list.
Taking to his Instagram, the actor announced the news sharing a picture in which he can be seen goofily posing with an artificial eye close to his right eye and next to him are hands holding a box of artificial eyes in a Madame Tussauds box. The pic was captioned, “Keep an eye out. Coming soon.” It is actually still unclear whether Shahid’s statue will be placed in the Delhi museum or London.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Kapoor, who will be next seen in Shree Narayan Singh’s ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ that also features Shraddha Kapoor and Yami Gautam is busy with the dubbing of the film. It is slated to release on September 21, 2018. He will also start shooting for his next film- the remake of Telugu blockbuster ‘Arjun Reddy’ at the end of the month.
