These days, actors Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur are busy with the promotions of their soon to be released sports drama 'Jersey'. The film was supposed to hit theatres on 14th of April but the release date was recently moved to 22nd of April.
Recently, during a promotional interview with Pinkvilla, Shahid was asked whether he'd like to share screen with Hrithik Roshan in near future. To this, Shahid replied, "I would be very intimidated but…because I absolutely love Hrithik as an action hero and I really love him as a dancer so I would actually be very nervous. I would tell him ki thoda kuch aisa haider type kar le? Because that is my comfort zone."
Mrunal Thakur, who was also present on the spot, quipped, "But listen how amazing that is going to be, Shahid and Hrithik Roshan together…mujhe bhi daal do yaar film me. (take me also in the film).” To this Shahid responded, "...of course you'll be the heroine, you are the common link…”
'Jersey' follows the story of a washed up cricketer, who makes a return to the field in his mid thirties. It is the remake of 2019 Telugu film of the same name which starred Nani in the lead.
