Bollywood is about to get a fresh onscreen romantic pair. Actors Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon are all set to share screen in an upcoming romantic comedy. While the rumors about this project have been doing round for a few days now, the latest buzz suggests that the duo have already shot a small section of the film before Kriti had to leave to promote her film 'Bhediya'.

A source close to the development told Pinkvilla, "A small week-long schedule of the film has been shot already. Shahid and Kriti, both were part of it. Then Kriti had to leave for promotions of Bhediya, so post the release of that film, she will immediately get back on set."

Backed by Dinesh Vijan and helmed by debutante Amit Joshi, the film is supposed to have a unique setting where Kriti will play a robot while Shahid will play an expert in robotics. Apart from this, Kriti has a bunch of exciting films in the pipeline including 'Bhediya', 'Adipurush', 'Ganpath' etc. Shahid on the other hand will be seen making his OTT debut with Raj & DK's web show 'Farzi' and he also has Ali Abbas Zafar's 'Bloody Daddy' in pipeline.
