The handsome munda will soon transform into a matured man for his father Pankaj Kapoor’s directorial debut Mausam, that too as an important public servant.

After playing roles from chocolate boy to rough-tough gangster, Shahid Kapoor will be donning quite different character for this film. It is said that the actor will be featured as an Air Force pilot!

Sources revealed that initially the director had in mind to cast Shahid as an Army officer and later decided to go ahead with the pilot’s role.

It is believed that this character is inspired from the successful Hollywood flick ‘Topgun’ that featured Tom Cruise as a Navy pilot.

Shahid is said to be seriously considering this role and would be taking special training once ‘Chance Pe Dance’ releases.
