The award season has set in. And looks like our Kaminey boy has taken upon himself to bag how much ever awards he can.

One of the coveted organisations is coming with an award function. The Giants International Award will be held on September 17 in Mumbai, to commemorate with Giants Founders’ Day. According to sources, actor Shahid Kapoor will be honoured for his eminence in Hindi cinema. Noted journalist Rajdeep Sardesai and playwright and organiser of the Soorya stage and film society Soorya Krishnamoorthy are said to be other winners of the award. Sources also mentioned Asin’s name in the list, but we are not sure as to which she category has won.

Giants International is an India-based international service organisation executing programmes in the areas of family planning, low-cost housing, consumerism and other public spirited activities. Amitabh Bachchan, M F Hussain, Mother Teresa, Dilip Kumar, Pritish Nandy, Ratan Tata and Sunil Gavaskar are some of the personalities who had previously won this award.
