Exciting news is making its rounds in the circles... Heard that Ekta Kapoor has considered the handsome B-town dude Shahid Kapoor for Milan Luthria's 'Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai 2'.

According to grapevines, while Akshay Kumar has been confirmed for the lead role as Ibrahim Dawood, the producer wants Shahid to play the role of Chhota Rajan, Dawood's best friend turned foe in the OUATIM's sequel.

Ekta along with the director said to had a lengthy meeting with Shahid recently and discussed about the script and his character in the movie. It seems the role of Chhota Rajan is as intense as the one Shahid portrayed in Vishal Bhardwaj's 'Kaminey'. So the makers felt that he will be able to play the character perfectly, given the fact he has done a range of characters till date.

In OUATIM's sequel Akshay will play the matured version of Emraan Hashmi's character in the first part and he will take the story forward from where it was left.

All seems to fine; but there is only one factor that poses to be a problem. Kareena Kapoor, who plays Dawood's love interest Mandakini in the sequel, had also been ex-girlfriend of Shahid. And looks like bringing together in one project might spark off some tension. However at the same time, the actress during 'Milenge Milenge' release, had also made a statement that she doesn’t have any problem to work with her old flame.

Anyways, let's wait for more updates on this one... Stay tuned till then... Meanwhile, you tell us what you think about Ekta's choice of roping in Shahid to play Chhota Rajan. Is he the right one?
