For quite some time now, news had been on rounds that, 'Queen' famed Vikas Bahl is coming up 'Shaandar' with Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. Now the release date of the film has been finalised. According to latest reports, 'Shaandar' is set to hit the screens on 4th September.

Bannered under Karan Johar`s Dharma Productions and Phantom Films, Shaandar` will be India's first destination wedding film and marks the fresh pairing of Shahid and Alia. Co-produced by Dharma Productions and Phantom Films, 'Shaandar' would be their second film together after a successful collaboration for 'Hasee Toh Phasee'.

Incidentally, the film also features Shahid's father, veteran actor Pankaj Kapur in supporting role.

National award winning Vikas Bahl has been immensely applauded for his last release 'Queen'... Let's wait to seen if his next turns 'Shaandar' (read fabulous) as well.
