While everyone was still dancing to the tunes of Gulaabo`, Shaandaar's first song launched yesterday, the stars of the film, Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt decided to do something Shaandaar` for their fans.

The 'Shaandaar' duo took the opportunity of being the first ever on screen couple to hold a live midnight Shaandaar Insomniac Chat` on Twitter. Fox Star Hindi`s Twitter Account broke the news a day prior to the chat:

Adding to the fans` excitement, Shahid and Alia had the cutest conversation on Twitter about the chat!

The #ShaandaarInsomniacChat was kicked off at 12:00am last night, which saw overwhelmed fans pouring in their questions and best wishes for 'Shaandaar', which releases 22nd October 2015!

We think this midnight chat idea, a marketing initiative was a very innovative way to promote their film 'Shaandaar' in which the duo play the role of insomniacs and who thought midnight chats could be so much fun.. or should we say so Shaandaar!

'Shaandaar' is an upcoming Indian romantic comedy film, directed by Vikas Bahl and produced by Karan Johar, Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane. It stars Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in lead roles, with Pankaj Kapur and Sanjay Kapoor in supporting roles. The film is set for release on October 22, 2015.
