Pakistan's star all-rounder Shahid Afridi's biography Game Changer has hit the stands and many shocking revelations have been made. One is the open secret that he was not 16 when he made his debut but 19 though that too is wrong as he has said his year of birth is 1975 which then clearly proves he was actually 21.
Shahid Afridi has also revealed that he used Sachin Tendulkar's bat when he scored the then world record 37 ball 100 against Sri Lanka which was the fasted in ODIs and stood for 22 years when Corey Anderson broke it in 2014 by scoring his century in 36 balls. According to the biography Sachin had given his bat to Waqar Younus to take it Sialkot and make a similar one at Pakistan's world-famous sports goods manufacturing capital.
However, Younus had given the bat to Shahid Afridi when he played that match and that's how Sachin had helped his arch-rival play that historic knock. For the record, AB De Villiers is the current world record holder for the faster ODI century scoring it in 31 balls against the Windies in 2015.
