'Shahenshah' Amitabh Bachchan & His Iconic Weapons: Birthday Special

  • IndiaGlitz, [Friday,October 11 2013]

Hail of the Shahenshah of Bollywood and long live his mighty stardom! IndiaGlitz wishes megastar Amitabh Bachchan a very Happy Birthday.

The screen icon is incomplete without his trademark white beard-black hair and specs (if one goes by his current look and style). Here we take a note of the popular reel ‘weapons’ with which this megastar stamped various iconic impressions through each of his films and different on-screen characters. We look back at those accessories, particular attire and props which helped Big B to create his superhit trademark looks or without which his reel characters would have something missing them.

Deewar (1975) - Badge with auspicious number 768

Sholay (1975) - Mouth organ

Amar Akbar Anthony (1977) - The Cross locket

Yaarana (1981) – The illuminated outfit

Coolie (1983) - Tauliya (read Towel)

Sharaabi (1984) - Glass & Alcohol bottle

Shahenshah (1988) - Rope & iron plated sleeve

Ajooba (1991) - Silver Mask

Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham & Baghban - Tie. In both the films the ‘tie’ tying sequences brings some affectionate moments between Big B and his two on-screen wives respectively.

Jhoom Barabar Jhoom (2007) - Feathered Hat

Sarkar (2005) - Rudraksh beads
