Shahana Goswami the rocking girl of ‘Rock On’ is all set to rock once again with her upcoming film ‘Basra’. The film is based on the town named ‘Basra’ in Iraq. The film has instances post the 9/11 attack as its backdrop.

‘Basra’ will be directed by Navdeep Singh and produced by Nikhil Advani. The film stars R. Madhavan, Akshay Khanna and Shahana Goswami in the lead roles. The film will go on floors by August and will see Maddy as a police officer. Shahana will be essaying the role of a journalist.

The film will also see Shahana in a never-seen-before avatar. The enthusiastic actress is said to have a meaty role and she owes her makeover to Hakim Aalim. Shahana is also looking forward for her other film ‘Tera Kya Hoga Johny’ which also has Neil Nitin Mukesh and Kay Kay Menon.
