Shah Rukh's 'Jhumroo' unveiled at IIFA

Videocon D2H IIFA Weekend 2011 was privy to an exclusive preview of the new Bollywood theatrical productions on Day 2, to be launched at Kingdom of Dreams this year - Jhumroo & Here I am-Shiamak.

Shah Rukh Khan, Global Ambassador for India’s first live entertainment and leisure destination announced the ambitious projects at a splendid ceremony at the recently held 12th edition of IIFA (India International Film Awards) in Toronto.

The star studded event also witnessed a special showcase of the first ever documentary on Kingdom of Dreams by National Geographic Channel for the remarkable show 'Inside'. Nat Geo's 'Inside' unravels the world's most restricted places and spectacular destinations, highlighting their use of science, high-tech tools and other lesser known facets.

Speaking on the occasion, Shah Rukh said, Kingdom of dreams is reflective of India, its rich culture and seamless heritage and I am proud to promote my country, my India, through this platform. Kingdom of Dreams is a world class experience and I am ecstatic to be a part of an Indian brand that has set the stage for entertainment at its very best.

An out and out musical comedy - 'Jhumroo' will be launched in October 2011 at Kingdom of Dreams. Packed with 19 Bollywood retro songs, Jhumroo is a celebration of the spirit of Kishore Kumar and literally so.

Whereas, 'Here I am-Shiamak' is a Vegas styled dance and music show fitted perfectly in the state of the art auditorium - Nautanki Mahal. This extravaganza by the phenomenal dance maestro will bring various genres of dance alive on stage and will be presented at Kingdom of Dreams as a first of its kind initiative.

Present for this significant announcement were celebrated actors from the Indian film fraternity, World media, Shiamak Davar, Mr. Viraf Sarkari, Mr. Andre Timmins, Mr. Sabbas Joseph, Directors, Wizcraft International Entertainment and Anumod Sharma, Apra Group of Companies.
