Filmmaker Karan Johar quashes all rumors regarding Shah Rukh Khan's baby-girl Suhana making an appearance with her father in his film "Kabhi Alvidaa Na Kehna".

Karan dismisses the rumor as "utter rubbish... this doesn't even warrant a response".

Karan is in New York filming "Kabhi Alvidaa Na Kehna".

"Can't they leave them alone?" is the angry response of one of Shah Rukh's favorite co-stars on location in New York for the film.

The protective co-star further adds, "Everything about Shah Rukh, from his doing a soap ad to his not doing a television soap, makes news. And when there's no news coming from New York, people in Mumbai are manufacturing 'taza khabar'.

"We've heard there's relentless stress out here in New York, that the actors are squabbling among themselves. Oh yeah? Perhaps people back home are better informed than us. The best one is about Shah Rukh's daughter being in the film. Please, tell them to back off."

So where and how did this rumor begin?

Shah Rukh's son Aryan had made an appearance in Karan Johar's directorial debut "Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham". Perhaps, the rumor was an extension of the earlier familial occurrence.

Celebrities allowing their kids to be seen in films aren't entirely unknown. Recently, Arshad Warsi's son Zeke made a walk-on or shall we say, toddle-on appearance in "Salaam Namaste". But that's it.

As a rule celebrities from showbiz like to keep their progenies as far away from the cameras as possible.
