Shah Rukh Khan's New Heroine is Pakistani Actress

After Pakistani beauty, Humaima Malick made her debut opposite Emraan Hashmi in RAJA NATWARLAL, yet another Pakistani actress Mahira Khan, renowned for her TV series HUMSAFAR will be making her debut in Bollywood opposite none other but the Badshah of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan in his forthcoming movie RAEES.
According to film's director Rahul Dholakia and producers, Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, Mahira Khan is ideal for the role. She is a brilliant actress hence she has been selected because she won't be playing the run of the mill typical Bollywood heroine, who has few dance and songs sequences and body display instead she plays Shah Rukh Khan's wife, a complex role. Since SRK plays an underworld don hence the movie portrays the traumas and pathos a wife has to undergo in his exile.
Ever since Mahira Khan, created waves with her TV serial HUMSAFAR, Bollywood has been keen to rope her but she has been keeping a distance. The actress is known for portraying sensitive, daring and women centric roles like in the acclaimed Pakistani film BOL, where she revolts against religious extremism and female emancipation in Pakistan.
In an interview the beautiful hazel eyes actress said, "I would like to do versatile roles and not stereotyped ones. There is a big no-no' to stereotype roles. After reading the script if I think I can do this kind of a role, I would never say no to it, instead would end up doing it."
Regarding the rumors of her being cast opposite Bollywood hunk Ranveer Singh, briefing the media, she had candidly confessed, "I've no clue who's gave out false information regarding me signing Bollywood films."
However during the press meet she did gave clues that she had been approached by some filmmakers from Bollywood and had been offered a role opposite a reputed' Bollywoood star.
Now the cat is out of the bag and the name of the reputed' Bollywoood star REVEALED!
