Will Shah Rukh Khan's 'Raees' become a Hit in Tamil Nadu?

Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan;s 'Raees' has had a wide release across Tamil Nadu. The film directed by Rahul Dholakia released on January 25, 2017 and has completed seven days in the box office.
In a week's time, 'Raees' has collected around Rs.3 crores from Tamil Nadu theatricals. More than one third of this comes from the capital city as the Chennai's share of the collections is Rs.1.13 crores.
Trade sources tell that the Tamil Nadu distribution rights were sold for Rs.1.5 crores and the distributors share earned so far is around Rs.1.2 crore.
This means the film will have to perform well in its second weekend to be declared a hit.
