Earlier this morning we brought you the trending news of Thalapathy Vijay releasing the Tamil trailer of Shah Rukh Khan's 'Pathaan'. The leading hero of Tamil cinema wished his Bollywood counterpart the very best and fans of both were sharing it like wildfire and making it the talk of tinsel town.
Now Shah Rukh Khan has posted his thanks message to Vijay writing on Twitter "Thank you my friend @actorvijay You are Thalapathy for this humble reason, let's meet for delicious feast soon.". For good measure the King Khan also added the same message in Tamil too "Mikka Nandri Nanba! Idhanala Dhaan Neenga Thalapathy koodiya viraivil oru arumaiyana virunthil santhipom. Love you"
'Pathaan' the 50th film produced by Yash Raj Films is directed by Siddharth Anand and stars SRK and Deepika Padukone in the lead with John Abraham as the chief antagonist. The spy espionage thriller with a heavy dose of patriotism is hitting screens worldwide on January 25th.
Meanwhile Vijay's new movie 'Varisu' is releasing worldwide with much fanfare on January 11th. Touted as an out and out commercial family entertainer the Thaman musical is directed by Vamshi Paidipally and produced by Dil Raju. Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna are the lead pair with a strong supporting cast of top Tamil and Telugu actors.
