Top commercial Tamil director Atlee's Hindi debut movie 'Jawan' produced and starring Shah Rukh Khan, was released worldwide on September 7th in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages receiving majorly positive reviews. The mass masala entertainer collected Rs 129 crores in one day and crossed the Rs 500 crore mark in four days.

Now Red Chillies Entertainment has made it official that 'Jawan' has collected Rs. 660.03 Crores worldwide in its first week. Now another long Vinayaka Chathurthi holiday weekend is starting from Friday the 15th September to Tuesday 18th September. Trade pundits suggest that the film will race towards the magical rupees one thousand crores mark by that time.

Shah Rukh Khan's earlier film 'Pathan' directed by Sidharth Anand has already collected more than 1000 crore rupees and 'Jawan' is set to give a double delight to SRK this year. The film has music by Anirudh and stars Shah Rukh Khan, Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Deepika Padukone and Yogi Babu among others.
