Co-owner of Kolkata Knight Riders and longtime co-star of Shah Rukh Khan Juhi Chawla gave a health update following his treatment for heat stroke in Ahmedabad. Shah Rukh is doing well and would support his side, Juhi assured supporters, ahead of the Indian Premier League finals on Sunday. Shah Rukh was ill yesterday night, but he is getting well now. God willing, she said, "he will be in the stands this weekend cheering the team in the finals."

Shah Rukh had heat stroke and dehydration when Juhi and Jay Mehta paid him a visit at KD Hospital in Ahmedabad on Wednesday. Shah Rukh's wife Gauri Khan paid him a worrying call.

Shah Rukh was hospitalised for heat stroke, according to Gujarat police. He was there in Ahmedabad for the Tuesday IPL match between KKR and Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Along with him were manager Pooja Dadlani, his younger son AbRam, and daughter Suhana. Juhi, Jay, Suhana's close pals Ananya Panday, Shanaya Kapoor, Navya Naveli Nanda, and her purported lover Agastya Nanda supported KKR at the stadium on Tuesday night. Following the game, Shah Rukh, Suhana and AbRam ran around the Narendra Modi Stadium. With his signature arms-spread pose, Shah Rukh bid the crowd namaste.

Juhi last appeared in The Railway Men. Among the more than a dozen Shah Rukh films she has acted in are Yes Boss, Darr, and Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani. She and Shah Rukh co produced Asoka and Chalte Chalte.
