The stage is all set for the decade's biggest box office clash, 'Dunki' Vs 'Salaar'. Bollywood king Shah Rukh Khan is back with the emotional drama 'Dunki' after giving two consecutive 1000 crore films this year while Rebel Star Prabhas is coming strongly with the 'KGF' maker Prashanth Neel's magnum opus 'Salaar'.

'Dunki' releases worldwide tomorrow and 'Salaar' hits the screens a day later on Friday. Now, there is a dispute over these releases due to screen allocation. It is said that PVR INOX & MIRAJ theatres chain management are allotting all the shows at their limited screen facilities to 'Dunki' by completely ignoring 'Salaar'. This results in other single-screen exhibitors opting for 'Dunki'.

In response, the 'Salaar' movie team decided to not screen the movie in PVR INOX & MIRAJ theatre chains across South India until those theatre chains consider fair distribution of screens in North India for both films. This incident has caused a stir among the fans, resulting in them trending the hashtag "#BoycottPVRINOX" on Twitter (X).

'Dunki' and 'Salaar' deserve an equal share of theatres as both movies are potential 1000 crores grossers at the box office. The 'Salaar' makers are not willing to back until they get a fair distribution of screens throughout the country. 'Salaar' is produced by Hombale Films while 'Dunki' is jointly bankrolled by Jio Studios, Red Chillies Entertainment and Rajkumar Hirani Films.
