She was launched by Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan, then she got to share screen space with large hearted star Salman Khan and now she will get to romance the Badshah of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan!

South beauty turned North hottie Asin is reported to be signed opposite the King Khan in Sajid Nandiadwala’s ‘2 States’ – which is actually the adaptation of renowned author Chetan Bhagat’s book with same title.

After months of speculations around the leading lady – first it was Priyanka Chopra, then Deepika Padukone and also Vidya Balan – now the news is making rounds that Asin is confirmed for the project.

According to birdies, the producer was pretty impressed with the actress in his other production ‘Housefull 2’. And that’s how he went on to sign her in ‘2 States’, which will be directed by Vishal Bhardwaj.

Hmmm, now it has to be considered how Salman Khan will take this news; since Asin had been going around with his clan and also when he doesn’t see eye to eye with SRK…. After being within the protective boundaries of Sallu miyaan, the actress seems to be exploring opportunities beyond that…

Chetan Bhagat’s previous two books – ‘One Night @ the Call Center’ and ‘Five Point Someone’ - were translated on to screens – ‘Hello’ and ‘3 Idiots’ respectively. While one tanked at the box office, other simply went on to become a smash hit. Let’s see how this SRK-Asin starrer fares… What do you feel about it, folks?
