Nowadays timely release of a film has become more uncertain than election results. Ever since films have started to release big, producers vying for theatres are left in the lurch when someone else has blocked them.

After Baadshah's postponement for unknown reasons, it is the turn of Venky-Srikanth starrer Shadow. "In spite of completing all the major work Shadow is not releasing for Sankranti", Meher Ramesh has informed on Twitter. Perhaps, Paruchuri Kiriti seems to have postponed the release because SVSC is likely to be deferred.

Presumably, the film will hit the screens before February. Music is by SS Thaman.

The action scenes shot in Malaysia and Lankavi, the director says, will stand out for their newness.
