'Shades of Saaho-2' Review: Maximum effect
Send us your feedback to audioarticles@vaarta.com
The second chapter of 'Shades of Saaho', a making videos series in other words, is high on style, short edits and modern ammunition.
The theatre of action is an indoor set-up that is also a scene of crime. Much of the video gives glimpses into the high-octane action choreography. The focus is on the magnitude of the technology deployed rather than any actor. The costs involved are definitely staggering.
Birthday girl Shraddha Kapoor has a stylish presence in the end, holding a gun, crystal-clear about her target and focussed on what needs to be executed.
As for Prabhas' fans, they are treated to a fresh look of the actor, complete with the devil-may-care attitude of his character.
All in all, this making video only raises the curiosity quotient and wants us to root for the flick.
Action Director Kenny Bates (joined by Bob Brown, Peng Zhang, Dhilip Subbarayan), Production Designer Sabu Cyril, VFX Supervisor Kamal Kannan and Director of Photography Madhie are on board. The film's music is by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.
The Rebel Star is joined by Jackie Shroff, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Vennela Kishore, Murli Sharma, Arun Vijay, Prakash Belavadi, Evelyn Sharma, Supreeth, Lal, Chunky Pandey, Mandira Bedi, Mahesh Manjrekar, Tinu Anand and others.
"We are making the actioner in 4 languages simultaneously - Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam," the makers say. Vamsi Krishna Reddy, Pramod Uppalapati and Vikram Reddy are producing it on UV Creations and are planning to release the movie on August 15.
