Shahid took to Twitter earlier today to invite his 'Shaandaar' co-star Alia for the trailer launch. They engaged in a playful banter making their eager fans all the more excited.

In fact, Shahid and Alia decided to make their 'Shaandaar' Evening all the more special for their fans by inviting some of them to be a part of it. Through a simple yet innovative activity by Fox Star Studios, fans were asked why they would love to be invited to the launch. Responses came pouring in from fans worldwide using #MyShaandaarInvite and within no time it was trending in India for six hours straight! Making the fans a part of the launch built a personal connect with the fans! The best entries were selected and have been invited to the launch event, some of whom have received a personal invitation from Shahid and Alia themselves.

'Shaandaar' is an upcoming Indian romantic comedy film, directed by Vikas Bahl and produced by Karan Johar, Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane. It stars Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in lead roles, with Pankaj Kapur and Sanjay Kapoor in supporting roles. The film is set for release in 2015.
