Shaam settles in Tollywood!

Shaam made a comeback with Telugu flick ÂKickÂ, which was a smash hit in Andhra. But, one really wonders how come Shaam chose a very normal story like ÂAnthony Yaar for his comeback in Tamil.
ÂAnthony Yaar is about an orphan Anthony (Shaam), raised by a church priest. He leads his life as a fisherman. He devotes his entire life for the well-being of innocent fishermen around him. Then as usual here you have a baddie who very often troubles the fishermen. And at last Anthony settles scores with the villain and brings peace to his community.
With such a simple story that did not suit Shaam much, it is no wonder that the film is an average grosser. But, luck seems to shine brightly on Shaam these days. ItÂs heard that Shaam got a good opportunity to become a show stealer of Tollywood. Immediately after the success of ÂKickÂ, fortune knocked his door.
This new project has come all the way from Andhara to pin-up Sham. Guess what is the story? Out of the blue! It will be ShaamÂs ÂAnthony YaarÂ. The filmÂs story will be modified into a masala story and will be remade in Telugu. Same as in Tamil Mallika Kapoor will be acting opposite Shaam. The project is produced by Annam Films Corporation.
Even if Shaam did not excite Tamils much, letÂs wish him success in Tollywood!
