Shaam in Malayalam

Malayalam cinema has been trying for long to find a mass hero from the younger stars.

Every director of commercial stream has tried to present new faces umpteen times, but none evolved to the level of existing super stars. But now Sunderdas is trying another different attempt in the same lines.

He is bringing in Shaam, the Tamil actor who become instant hit with his initial films. The actor, who is back on track in Tamil with a couple of big ventures like Inba and Thoondil in his kitty, is foraying to Malayalam with the next film by Sundardas titled Koodaram.

Shaam is thrilled to enter Malayalam. Language is no barrier to art. If you are honest and sincere in what you do, success will follow you, he says philosophically.

Buzz is that Meena has been cast as the heroines, who are presented in a double role. The actress readily agreed to be part of the movie after she listened to the story, which appealed much to her.
