"Presenting.. Nature’s beloved.. the Ethereal and Demure.. Shakuntala from 'Shaakuntalam' (sic)," the makers of Samantha Ruth Prabhu's next movie said, unveiling the First Look featuring the leading actress. Written and directed by Guansekhar, the multi-lingual film is produced by Neelima Guna and presented by Dil Raju.
With Dev Mohan as Dushantha, 'Shaakuntalam' has Kabir Duhan Singh in a negative role. In the First Look, we see the 'Majili' actress sitting in a forest. Clad in pure white, she is adorned with beautiful flowers. Animals in the wild are around her.
Touted to be a mythology for millennials, 'Shaakuntalam' will lock its release date soon.
Cinematography is by Sekhar V Joseph. Music is by Mani Sharma. Art Direction is by Ashok Kumar. Editing is by Prawin Pudi. Costumes are by Neetha Lulla. Dialogues are by Sai Madhav Burra. VFX is by Alagar Sami.
