The event began with host Suma taking stock of the phenomenon called Pawan Kalyan. Amid huge cheers of the thousands of fans, Suma imitated Power Star briefly, besides raising a toast to his creativity.

Chiranjeevi said, "If there is a film that I have watched repeatedly in recent years, it's Gabbar Singh. I watch it with interest whenever it is telecast on TV. Never in the past have I watched a Pawan film with so much of interest. He showed his 'vishwaroopam' in that film. This is what I want to see from Pawan Kalyan. I have enjoyed every frame of it. Pawan improvised on Dabbang, and the characterization in that film. Pawan doesn't follow any trend, he sets the trend himself. He has proved it. In Attarintiki Daredi, we saw a different Pawan, once again. Now, it is SGS. Pawan has dedicated himself to the film. It's his story, it's his screenplay. I have no doubt that the combination of Bobby and Pawan is great. When I visited the sets, I could feel that just as Sholay created Rampur, SGS has created Ratanpur. It will be another Sholay for sure. Pawan has humanism in him. He has humour in him. I have no doubt that every scene will have either humour or something in store for the masses. I have to share an anecdote from his childhood. He came to me one day when he wanted to plan his future course of action. Me and his vadina told him that he should become an actor.

He was convinced. Today, he has come to this stage. Me and my parents are the first one to feel proud of him. I heard that he is not decided on what to do after 2 or 3 films. Is this correct? I am advising Pawan once again. You will reach heights in whichever field you are. But don't abandon cinema. You should make your fans happy. You have the capacity to ride both the horses (cinema and politics). We will be with you. I don't think Pawan will say no to me. I wish that he will break all the records. Some other hero should break his records. Such a healthy competition will be good. SGS should break the records of Baahubali. Records shouldn't be the exclusive achievement of any one particular hero. Pawan too thinks like this. I watched Power recently on TV. Bobby is very talented. Pawan has shown his merit in spotting talent. I am many times more excited than you all to watch his Veena step. It's a gift he is giving to Mega fans."

Pawan Kalyan said, "I never had a hero other than Chiranjeevi garu. I was a big fan of Amitabh Bachchan garu. After annayya became a hero, it was only him. But when he advised me to become an actor, it was a new feeling. If am in front of you, it's because of annayya and vadina. I still don't understand as to why annayya gave me that advise. Did he say that because he thought I will at least do something? I never knew how to read, what work to do. When annaya would come home late night and sleep off without removing his shoes, I would remove them and smell the fragrance of his sweat. For a person like me, it's relatively easier to enter films. But without any background, annayya has reached this stage. He is a great inspiration. I never had interest in acting. But I liked reading. In politics, I have done certain things which he didn't like. I tried to explain him why I did those things. He is convinced. Maa bandhalu veru, politics veru. I don't have to prove that I love him. After my parents, it's annayya and vadina who are like my parents.

When Jhonny failed, annaya said that I should have worked harder. I did not do Jhonny out of ignorance. SGS has all the commercial elements annayya wants in a film. That's why I invited him to the event. I hope I won't disappoint. When I went to Khammam border before entering films, I felt that a love story should be done there. I took 2.5 years to write this script. I like to nativise Western elements like Cowboy. It had to release in October last. I thank Sunil Lulla ji for being patient despite the delays. I thank Kajal, and Sanjjana. I made everyone work so hard for the past 50 days. I didn't sleep. I didn't let them sleep. We shot 70 pc of the film during this period. We are not releasing it in Hindi with the aim of breaking the records of any film.

Bobby said, "My father would never let me bunk the school, except on one festival day. That festival was Chiranjeevi garu's film release date. When I was in college, Kalyan garu's films came. We shot in Pune, spending Rs. 3 crores. Kalyan garu didn't even ask for the visuals. It shows the faith he had in us. Adi freedom ante. balavanthanga vesi choopincham. I learnt a lot of things. how to wage a battle, how to work hard. He was never tired mentally despite toiling like hell. I am crazy after DSP. I couldn't sleep for 3 days when I was told that he is the music director. It was Kalyan garu who suggested Sharat Kelkar's name. The result is this."

Sharrat Marar said, "This was one of the finest journeys of our lifetime. I should make a special mention of DSP sir. Many times, Pawan Kalyan would call up Bobby and discuss. Brahma Kadali's art direction, Ram-Laxman's stunts are great. I thank Eros International for all the support throughout. The biggest thing is the presence of Chiranjeevi garu here. Pawan garu is a very tough task master. All of us struggled for the excellence he was looking for. During crises, he would lead us from the front."

DSP said, "I want to thank my entire team. Ramajogayya Sastry garu, and Ananth Sriram garu have written excellent lyrics. This time, my journey with Pawan garu is longer because he is writer."

Kajal Aggarwal said, "It's an honour to share the stage with Chiranjeevi sir and PK sir. DSP has killed it once again. Power Star. I now truly understand the meaning of this sobriquet. It means hardwork, dedication, etc. All that makes him the superstar he is."
