Title - 7, Producer - Lakshmisha, Direction - Chandrasekhar Srivatsav, Cinematography - Shekhar, Music - AM Neel, Cast - Chandrasekhar Srivatsav, Roopa Nataraj, Sadhu Kokila, Rangayana Raghu, Ravi Kaale, Avinash, Danny Kuttappa and others.
With two setbacks director Chandrasekhar Srivatsav appearing in the lead role has struggled hard but his presence as protagonist is difficult to digest. He has remained throughout the film in one mood. He has taken the liberty of showing female protagonist as an opportunist. What are the new additions in this film? It is nothing that absorbing. He earns applaud for climax and build up he takes is justified in the middle of the film. That is because he kills the powerful don Kaali (Ravi Kaale).
7 (Chandrasekhar Srivatsav) takes the extreme step of finishing don Kaali on the demand put forward by Anu (Roopa Nataraj). The vicious mind of Anu is not questioned by 7 at this stage. When the don is killed the change in mindset of Anu for her convenience perturbs 7. He demands for love but once again Anu plays trick in finishing off 7. Despite of brutal attack from long sharp edge weapons, bullet hits the return of 7 to take revenge on Anu is the end part of the film.
Chandrasekhar Srivatsav has to immensely improve in his acting capacity. He is like a wooden block at many places. The strong role deserved a good performer. A few lines in the film attacking top stars and a few more in bad taste could have been avoided.
Roopa Nataraj has showed her ability in acting and dialogue delivery. Rangayana Raghu, Avinash, Sadhu Kokila are apt.
AM Neel two tunes are superb. Cameraman Shekhar has showed exemplary skill. The close up, long shots, top angles are good to watch.
Nothing compelling to watch!
