With the Mangaligiri court on Thursday saying that 'Lakshmi's NTR' can't be released before April 15, the biopic has faced a tremendous setback. The court has issued the injunction order on the basis of a petition filed by TDP sympathizers. The petition said that the movie is prurient.

Ram Gopal Varma has been found clueless now. After the Election Commission cleared the decks for its release last week, he was on a cloud nine. He was planning to release the movie on Friday. It's now too late for him to do anything in terms of legal recourse.

In the era of piracy, it's not advisable to release a movie in one of the Telugu States before the other one. So, the release might be put off in Telangana as well.
