It has become quite a routine to shoot few songs in foreign locales for almost every Tamil movie. But the team 'Sernthu Polaama' has shot the entire movie in, New Zealand alone. Given the picturesque locations and the abundant beauty of nature, the crew promises a visual delight throughout the movie. Vinay will be seen in a solo hero subject after 'Mirattal'. Madhurima is paired against the 'Unnale Unnale' hero. Anill Kumar, who got 30+ movies under his belt as director in, Malayalam, is making his debut in Tamil.

The makers said that the movie deals about friendship and the efforts to re-unite with the childhood friends are framed poetically. The story travels from, West county, Auckland to South Islands. The entire crew travelled with the cast for about 500kms to complete the movie. The move has been bankrolled by, Sasi Nambeesan and the music is composed by, Vishnu Mohan Sithara.

We've witnessed few road movies in the recent time and this movie seems to be in a different light altogether.
