Tamil serial actress Vilasini has found fame after her natural performance in 'Paavam Ganesan' costarring Naveen telecast on Vijay TV. She started her career as a radio jockey and has also anchored many television shows before taking the plunge into the acting profession.

Vilasini was married to Sai Gnaprakash for a few years but separated from him in 2019 and later applied and got divorced. In a recent interview, she has opened that she was cheated by her husband who was involved in many nefarious activities and used to go missing for long periods of time.

The actress has also added that she endured physical and verbal abuse and also lost a lot of money to her ex-husband who used to extort money from her parents too. She however felt much relieved after the divorce and is now intent on pursuing her career in acting and also singing.

It is worth mentioning that Vilasini is the daughter of Isaigniani Ilayaraja's wife's brother's daughter and is a cousin of Yuvan Shankar Raja, Venkat Prabhu and Premgi Amaran.
