A serial actress Sarala who has also acted in Karthi's 'Kaithi' and 'Vaibhav's 'Sixer' has lodged a police complaint against a person who tried to sexually abuse her under the guise of auditioning. In her petition, she had stated that she saw an audition call on social media for a new film produced by Sun Pictures and got in touch through the contact number given.

The person had asked her to send her pictures and videos through Whatsapp. Another caller from a different number claimed to be an executive at Sun Pictures demanded that the actress should come in person for a sexual encounter and when she refused made murder threats.

Sarala has submitted the call recordings as evidence in her online complaint. Sun Pictures has also lodged a complaint against the person for impersonating as the company's executive and also misusing the brand name. Police are on the hunt for the criminals.
