A popular Tamil actress who has done eleven films and serials lodged a complaint at the Mogoppair police station that one Rajesh of Keezhkattalai became friends with her a few yearrs back and later they got engaged in 2019.

The actress has alleged that Rajesh an event manager then took her to a resort on the outskirts of Chennai and had a physical relationship with her on many occassions. But when the marriage date neared the man had tried to get out of the relationship and then demanded rupees ten lakhs from her to tie the knot. He had also allegedly told the actress that he got engaged so that he could get physical but had no intention of marriage.

Though the actress had lodged her police complaint in February no action was taken and she approached the court which directed the cops to act. The police have now booked Rajesh under three sections including rape and cheating. The lawyer of Rajesh meanwhile has counter alleged that the actress had multiple affairs and told his client that he should not control her even after marriage and thats why he split from her.

Rajesh's lawyer has further stated that the actress in fact got lakhs of money from him and refused to pay it back and instead lodged the rape complaint.
