Tamil actress who alleged that husband kicked her when pregnant gives birth to child

A popular Tamil serial actress, who lodged a police complaint that her husband kicked her stomach when she was pregnant has given birth. The news has brought cheer to the Tamil television industry and several celebrities and fans are congratulating her on social media.
Actress Divya Sridhar made her debut with the serial 'Sevvanti' and has acted in many serials since then. It was said that she was married before her debut and had a daughter with her first husband. The couple later filed for divorce due to irreconcilable differences.
While acting in the serial 'Keladi Kanmani', Divya fell in love with Arnav who played the lead role. It was said that the couple were in a live-in-relationship and after Divya got pregnant, they tied the knot in a simple ceremony attended by the families of both sides.
A few months back Divya Sridhar filed a police complaint against Arnav. In it, she had said that her husband was beating her and kicked her on her stomach when she was pregnant and she almost had a miscarriage. Arnav was arrested based on the complaint and later released on bail.
Divya Sridhar who is now separated from Arnav, has posted a photo of herself holding the hand of her just born child.
