The Tamil teleserial 'Sembaruthi' that aired on Zee Tamil for five years concluded after 1431 episodes on July 31st this year. The soap opera made stars of the cast members Karthik Raj, Shabhana Shajahan, VJ Kathir and VJ Mounika among others.

VJ Kathir became very popular among TV viewers after playing the pivotal role of the younger brother of the hero who stands by him in thick and thin. He also had a romantic hate turned love character arc with Janani Ashok Kumar who played Aishwarya.

Kathir married Sindhu in 2020 and now he has announced that they have become parents of a baby girl. An elated Kathir shared a pic of his newborn daughter on Insta and wrote an emotional poem ""MY PRINCESS ❤️ Happy for every father who are celebrating daughter's day today...And me with my daughter! YES...,Our lovely princess arrived(Sep 17th 2022) and she found her home in my arms????‍??.She came and turned out home into a piece of heaven."
