Hansal Mehta's 'Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story' was a phenomenal success. It is considered by many as the best web series of 2020. Now the master filmmaker Hansal Mehta has made up his mind to tell another story about a scam. This will be an anthological follow up to the Harshad Mehta story and its been titled, 'Scam 2003: The Curious Case of Abdul Karim Telgi’.

The project will be an adaptation of the book, Reporter ki Diary’, authored by journalist Sanjay Singh. It will revolve around a man from Karnataka, who engineered and pulled one of the biggest scams of the country. The scam value was alleged to be around a whopping Rs. 20,000 crores.

As soon the script is finalized, the makers will begin casting. It is slated to go on floors by the end of the year and release in 2022.
