The top comedian of Kollywood at the moment happens to be actor Yogi Babu, and he has started playing lead roles as well in movies. Last year, Yogi Babu was seen in the lead role in Dharmaprabhu which was directed by Muthukumaran.

Dharmaprabhu also starred Radha Ravi, Sam Jones, Ramesh Thilak, Rekha, and Naan kadavul Rajendran and was commercially successful and now director Muthukumaran is planning to direct a sequel to Dharmaprabhu again with Yogi Babu.

Reportedly the director has penned a story for Dharmaprabhu 2 and has narrated it to Yogi Babu and an official announcement on Dharmaprabhu 2 will be out after the script is completed. Currently Muthukumaran is trying to resolve the financial issues of his debut movie Kanni Rasi starring Vimal and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar.
