September Release Movies 2023 : Telugu movies from 'Khushi' to 'Salar' are going to rule the pan India box office in the month of September. What are the movies coming in that month? Take a look.
National awards announced recently. Majority of the awards went to Telugu film industry. Sorry.. Telugu movies have taken over. A national award? Or the award given to Telugu cinema? The discussion at the level of National awards are just one example to tell about the atmosphere of Telugu cinema across the country. Telugu movies are going to fight at the pan India box office in the next month (September) as well. Which Telugu movies are releasing in the next 30 days? How is their impact at pan India level? Let's have a look at them.
September begins with Vijay Devarakonda's 'Khushi'!
September 1st came on Friday. From that day, our Telugu movie will be buzzing at the box office. 'Khushi' starring Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha will be released on September 1. It must be said that there is no competition for this film at pan India level.
Even though 'Liger' flopped.. Vijay Devarakonda's Pan India craze has not diminished at all. His following is the same. Besides that, the presence of Samantha and hit songs are plus points for 'Kushi' (Kushi movie 2023). Director Shiva Nirvana has chosen a storyline that connects with the majority of the audience, especially the youth - love marriage, post-marriage fights between the boy and girl. How much is the movie new in terms of story? How much new is said other than routine? The result depends on the topic.
On September 1, Yogi Babu's 'Lucky Man', Sarath Kumar's 'Paramporul' and two or three other films were ready for release in Tamil. Kalki Kochin's 'Goldfish', KK Menon's 'Love All' and 'Mystery of Tattoo' are releasing in Hindi.
Shahrukh Khan's 'Jawaan' vs 'Miss Shetty Mr. Polishetty'
Telugu movie 'Miss Shetty Mr. Polishetty' will release pan India on 7th, second week of September. After 'Baahubali', Anushka's Pan India film is going before the Pan India moviegoers. Although 'Bhagamati' was made in between, it was released only in Telugu and Tamil languages.
Naveen Polishetty, the hero of 'Miss Shetty Mr Polishetti' is also well known to the Hindi audience with Sushant Singh Rajput's 'Chichore'! A plus point for 'Miss Shetty Mr. Polishetty is a concept oriented film along with the hero heroines. But.. It has tough competition at the box office.
Shahrukh Khan's 'Jawaan' is also slated to release on September 7. As Atlee is the director of that film, there was a craze among the Telugu and Tamil audience as well. Shahrukh Khan, who has concentrated on the South market, is also promoting in the South. So, it remains to be seen how 'Miss Shetty Mr. Polishetty' will be received. It can be said that there is no dhoka in Telugu atleast.
Harish Uttaman's 'Noodles' and Sathyaraj's 'Angaragan' are getting ready for release in Tamil on September 8. They are no where in competition with 'Miss Shetty, Mr. Polishetty' and 'Jawaan'.
Ram 'Skanda' vs Raghava Lawrence 'Chandramukhi 2'
Ustad Ram Pothineni is the hero of Boyapati Srinu directed movie 'Skanda'. It is releasing in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam on September 15.
Ram movies are well received in the North. When his movies were dubbed in Hindi.. they got millions of views. The Hindi dubbing record of films directed by Boyapati Srinu is also good. Hence, their combination increased the craze for 'Skanda'. As the trailer is full of South Indian style mass action & family moments, it is likely to get a good response in states like Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.
Along with 'Skanda', 'Chandramukhi 2' and 'Mark Antony' are also releasing on September 15. With the 'Kanchana' series of movies, the horror thriller concept & Raghava Lawrence came up with the image of a hit. Apart from that, as 'Chandramukhi' became a hit in all languages, the brand value was also added. That movie can give competition to 'Skanda'. There is no record of Vishal's films achieving huge success in recent times. Let's see what he will do with 'Mark Antony' as the film is coming up with a retro genre.
'Salar'.. No Competition Boss! The films that will be released throughout September are one step.. 'Salar' coming at the end of the month is another step! It is a movie directed by Prashant Neel of 'KGF' fame with rebel star Prabhas in the lead role.
'Salaar' (Salaar Part 1 Ceasefire) will hit the screens on September 28. Advance bookings have already started in America. Reportedly, the film has earned three and a half crores along through advance scales. A couple of days before the release, it looks like creating new records. Till now, Prabhas has not released anything much except stills and small visuals from Salaar. However, those bookings are a small example of how much the audience is waiting for the film.
After 'Baahubali', Prabhas did not get that level of success. The fans as well as the average audience and the trade circles are hoping that 'Salar' will definitely fill that deficit. It must be said that it is an action genre and Prashanth Neel is the director.
'Vaccine War' directed by 'Kashmir Files' director Vivek Agnihotri is also gearing up for release on September 28. To be honest... Prabhas' 'Radhe Shyam' and Vivek Agnihotri's 'Kashmir Files' hit the screens on the same day. While 'Kashmir Files' was a sensational success.. 'Radhe Shyam' flopped.
Remembering that... 'Vaccine War' publicity is going in peaks. But, this time it will be difficult for that movie to stand in front of 'Salar'.
'Jayam' Ravi and Nayanthara starrer 'Iraivan' will release in Tamil on September 28. It is expected that the film will be limited to Kollywood.
Vicky Kaushal, Manushi Chillar's 'The Great Indian Family' and Shilpa Shetty's 'Sukhi' are coming in Hindi on September 22 but they are no where near to 'Salar' range and scale. If we look at the movies that are going to be released in the month of September... there is no doubt in saying that Telugu movies are the top on a pan-India level.
