Sensational actress teams up with Mani Ratnam in 'Thug Life' after 'Ponniyin Selvan'!

Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan's 'Thug Life' is turning out to be one of the biggest multistarrers in the industry. The casting coup of the movie gets bigger as each day passes. The latest announcement from the team says that actress Aishwarya Lekshmi is roped in to play an important role.
'Thug Life' marks the reunion of Kamal Haasan with director Mani Ratnam. Notably, this is the second collaboration for Mani Ratnam with Aishwarya Lekshmi after the historical hit, 'Ponniyin Selvan'. The team welcomed her on board by writing, "With utmost joy, we welcome the elegant @AishuL_ to the ensemble of #ThugLife" (sic).
Aishwarya Lekshmi responded, "Back with my Guru again Thanking my stars for all the blessings that led me here ! And super excited to see our #RangarayaSakthivelNaickar and join my stellar cast and crew ." As per the official updates, the movie stars Kamal Haasan, Trisha, Jayam Ravi, Dulquer Salmaan, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Joju George and Gautham Karthik.
Sources tell us that Aishwarya Rai, Nassar and Abhirami are part of the cast. Renowned cinematographer Ravi K Chandran and editor Sreekar Prasad are handling the visuals and editing, respectively. The film's music will be scored by AR Rahman. 'Thug Life' is a joint production by Madras Talkies and Rajkamal Films International.
