Senior makeup artist Jayachandran passes away

Mollywood's senior makeup artist Jayachandran passed away on Thursday. The 52-year-old had been undergoing treatment for liver disease for the last two months. On Thursday, his condition worsened suddenly and breathed his last. He was the recipient of the Kerala State Film Award for Best Makeup Artist and had been associated with several top actors.

Jayachandran has worked for over 150 Malayalam films. In 2002, he bagged Kerala State Film Award for Best Makeup Artist for the movie 'Kuberan'. Apart from movies he had also been working as a senior makeup artist for several TV channels and bagged Film Critics Award and several channel awards.
