The Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey have said that they are pleased to honour and salute Dr. Rajendra Prasad. Describing the 'Nata Kireeti' as a widely acclaimed international film star in recognition of his remarkable acting career that has spanned forty years, the Senate has said that he is renowned and respected by his legion of admirers.
"Dr. Rajendra Prasad has appeared in 237 movies during his illustrious tenure as an actor. Particularly adept at comedy, he is proficient as a mime, as well as an accomplished harmonium and sitar player, and he has also shared his considerable talents as a playback singer and music director," the Senate further states.
"He speaks in six languages and is known for his steadfast philanthropic efforts, and he has made generous donations to award scholarships for students in need," it has said.
