Selvaraghavan enjoyed a good outing in Kollywood as far as 2022 was concerned. Two of the films that he acted in 'Saani Kaayidham' costarring Keerthy Suresh and 'Beast' in which he played an important role opposite Thalapathy Vijay established him as an actor.

His directorial venture 'Naane Varuven' starring brother Dhanush also released earning praise for the performances and a different take on the horror genre. Now the censor details of Selva's next film as actor 'Bakasuran' is out.

The censor officials have given a 'UA' certificate for 'Bakasuran and it has been announced that the film will release in February this year. It is worth noting that the trailer of this thriller directed by Mohan G already received good response. Selvaraghavan, Natraj Subramanian, Radha Ravi, K Rajan, Saravana Subbiah, Mansoor Ali Khan, Devadarshini, PL Thenappan and Cool Suresh are the principal actors. Sam C.S. has scored the music.
