It is already known that acclaimed director Selvaraghavan turned into an actor last year. He has played the lead role in director Mohan G's next film, 'Bakasuran', an action drama with a strong social message.
Now, the hot update is that the Selvaraghavan starrer will clash with his brother Dhanush's 'Vaathi' at the box office. Selvaraghavan took to social media to officially announce that Bakasuran will hit the screens on February 17th with a new poster. He captioned, "See you all Feb 17 th in theatres ! Protect what's yours !" (sic).
Vaathi is Dhanush's upcoming bilingual film, directed by Venky Atluri. This film is a period entertainer about the education system. Samyuktha Menon, Samuthirakani and others are playing the lead roles in the movie which has music scored by GV Prakash. Sithara Entertainment, Srikara Studios and Fortune Four Cinemas produced Vaathi.
